Hyper mobility also known as being double jointed can range from mild joint flexibility to much more serious conditions where the vascular system and heart can be affected. It is caused by too much laxity in the body, too much collagen. 

Pilates can help hugely by teaching the body to move with in it's natural range. This condition can also cause pain in joints and so  we encourage correct movement, and relaxation techniques.
